Along the way we get into the rise of niche calendar moments like National Masturbation Day and Random Acts of Kindness Day — the kind of days you don’t remember until social media aggressively reminds you they’re happening. Some are commercial, some are heartfelt, some are confusing, and some probably shouldn’t be a thing at all — but every one of them sparks an opinion. This episode sets the tone for the tournament.
